Both ski boot bags are international carry-on approved with the helmet canopy attached on top.

Both the 40L and 50L fit in the overhead compartment on aeroplanes across the globe, and both comply with the 7kg carry-on weight limit enforced by international carriers like Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar.
Will it really pass as a carry-on?
Yes. Both the 40L and 50L are carry-on approved and meet international weight restrictions (7kg and below) with the helmet canopy attached on top.
